Wish lists
What does it mean to reserve a gift on a wish list?
Learn what a reservation tells other guests, when to place the order, and what to do if you change your mind.

Reserving a gift says you plan to give it. It lets other guests choose something else. You still have to order or buy the gift yourself, and a reservation does not hold stock at a shop.
Check the item before you reserve
Open the shop link if there is one. Check the variant, the total cost, and whether it will arrive before the celebration. If the list says “blue, size medium,” confirm the shop hasn't selected another size by default. When the item has no link, check the description for anything the recipient cares about.
Reserve it, then buy it separately
On Piki, you can reserve from the shared link without signing up. Use the shop checkout or buy it in person. If the organizer requested several, each reservation claims one unit, so the same item may still be available to another guest.
Undo a reservation you can't keep
If your plans change, open the list and cancel from My reservations. The original browser can recognize your reservation. If you added your email when reserving, you can request an access link; otherwise, ask the organizer for help. Freeing the item early gives someone else time to pick it up.
Keep purchase details out of the note
The reservation note can help with coordination. It doesn't need an order number, address, or receipt. The list owner can see that an item is reserved; names and notes stay hidden until the owner opens Reveal. Contact the host directly for delivery questions.
