Questions about Piki wish lists and RSVPs

Piki is a web app for private wish lists and small-event RSVPs. Organizers manage the details in their account; guests use a shared link. These answers explain what each person can see, how reservations work and where the limits are.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you start

Who needs a Piki account?

Organizers need an account to create and manage lists or events. Guests can reserve a gift or send an RSVP through the shared link without signing up.

Who can open a private list?

Anyone with its shared link. Piki excludes lists from public navigation and search indexing, but the link is not password protection. Share it only with people you trust.

Does reserving a gift buy it?

No. A reservation tells guests you plan to give that item. It does not place an order or take payment. Buy separately through the shop link, if provided.

Can I add gifts from different shops?

Yes. Import from a product link, then check the result. If a shop supplies no usable information, enter details manually. A product link is optional.

Are the prices and stock information current?

Not necessarily. Details can change after an item is added. Check the shop for current price, stock and delivery information before buying.

What stays hidden until Reveal?

Giver names and reservation notes stay hidden from the list owner until they open Reveal. Reservation status and availability are visible, so the owner may still know which items are reserved.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. Open the shared list, choose My reservations and select Unreserve. The same browser remembers your reservations. For access on another device, add an email address and follow the management link sent to you. Without email recovery, clearing browser data can remove access to your reservations.

Can more than one guest reserve the same item?

Yes, if the organizer requested several or selected unlimited quantity. Each reservation claims one unit. A single requested item becomes unavailable once reserved.

Can I edit a list after sending the link?

Yes. Edit from your account. The link continues to work, and open guest pages refresh to show changes.

Can I collect RSVPs alongside a gift list?

Yes. Create an event and link it to a wish list. Guests can reply yes, no or maybe and leave a note. The host sees the responses; other guests do not see the full response ledger.

Can another organizer help manage my list?

Yes. Owners can invite managers by email. Managers need a Piki account; guests only need the shared link.

Does Piki track visitors?

Piki does not run browser analytics, session replay or marketing trackers on public pages, in the product or through shared guest links. We use only essential functional storage. Cloudflare hosts Piki and processes technical request information to keep the service running, secure it and investigate server errors. This can include IP addresses and request metadata. It is not used for marketing or advertising.
