How to create and share a private wish list

Piki brings gift ideas and guest reservations into one shared list. The organizer needs an account; guests do not. Share the link with your people, let them reserve a gift, and choose when to reveal their names and notes.

1. Create a list for your occasion

Sign up, name your list and choose an occasion. Describe who it is for and what would help. Cover images and dates are optional.

2. Add ideas from shops or by hand

Paste a product link to try importing its name, image and price. Check the result before saving. If the import falls short, enter the details yourself.

  • Add a note for sizes, colours or other preferences.
  • Set a quantity when more than one would be useful.
  • Leave the product link blank for an experience or offer of help.

3. Share the link with your guests

Copy the link into an invitation, email or group chat, or use the share button on your device. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it thoughtfully.

4. Guests reserve, then buy separately

Guests reserve an available item, with an optional name and note. Availability updates for other guests. Reserving does not order or pay for the gift; purchase happens separately.

5. Reveal the names when you are ready

You can see reservation status while giver names and notes stay hidden. Open Reveal when you want to read them. If you are hosting a gathering, you can also link an event page for RSVPs.

Answers before you start

Can I change the list after sharing it?

Yes. Edit the list and its items after sharing. The link stays the same, and open guest pages refresh to show changes.

Do guests need to install an app?

No. Guests open the shared link in their browser. They can reserve gifts and reply to an event without creating a Piki account.
