How to keep a year-round wish list worth sharing
Keep ideas as they come up, remove stale entries, and turn a running list into a useful shortlist when someone asks.

Keep a running wish list so you have an answer the next time someone asks what you want. Before sharing it, spend a few minutes clearing out anything you bought, no longer want, or can't describe well enough for somebody else to choose.
Save the reason along with the idea
Add “light enough for my commute” to the umbrella you bookmarked. Add “the next book after Volume 2” to a series you just started. Those notes help you remember why you wanted the item and let guests adapt if the first option disappears.
Review the list before an occasion
Open the product links, check the variants, and remove things you already own. If a gift was reserved for an earlier occasion and you're unsure what happened, check with the giver privately before making it available to someone else.
Give guests a few easy choices
Keep a mix of modest items, practical upgrades, and a couple of experiences. If you mostly use the running list to collect expensive ideas, add the bag of coffee or paperback you would also enjoy. Think about what a guest can find locally or buy without special shipping.
Share a shorter list when the context changes
You might be comfortable sending your long list to a partner and prefer to give colleagues two suggestions. You don't have to share everything you've saved. A short, separate list is also easier to use for an occasion with its own budget or theme.
